L. Nagant 1896 dated Liège, Belgium marked double action revolver, serial number 649 sleeved and converted to .22 centerfire caliber. The barrel is approximately 7”. Approximately 30% to 50% thinning blue. The grips are worn. The action does not work well and we do not believe this gun would fire as the work is badly designed and the firing pin is too long and a strange angle. Other than that we don’t like it either but it does have some saving grace being a Nagant marked 1896 and a clever and well-trained gunsmith like Dave Garmen could spend $5000 worth of his time making it worth $200.
