L.C. Smith field-grade, 12ga double barrel shotgun, 28” barrels, blue and case hardened finish, standard extractors, double triggers, hard rubber recoil pad added, serial number “135221”. The barrels show Hunter Arms Co. address, and the gun remains in near-fine original condition. Approx. 85-95% original blue on barrels, evenly thinning at the edges with some slight scratches and just normal beginning age. The frame shows 80-90% bright and colorful case hardening, drifting at the bottom front of the frame, and some just starting minimal aging. The stocks are very good plus, show some light cleaning with steel wood, but are generally at least very good overall with good wood to metal fit. Just traces of the original finish with a couple of minor marks and some crusty residue of the original varnish. The markings are sharp, the interior near excellent. The stock measures approx. 13-1/2” to the end of the wood, 14-5/8” to the end of the pad. Est.: $1,250 - $2,500.
