L. C. Smith eagle-grade 12ga side by side shotgun, factory 28” barrels, single trigger, auto-ejectors, restocked in finely figured walnut and restored, serial #217542. The gun shows 97-99% nicely restored blued finishwith good edges and good markings. The frame shows traces of original case hardening with nicely engraved birds in flight on each side surrounded by scrolls. The stock is fine to near excellent as restored and is ofexcellent quality with fine checkering, just a few minor scratches, minor dings and mars. The Stock measures 13-5/8” to the end of the wood. 14-5/8” to the end of the pad. The action is locking tight, the bores are fineto nearly excellent. The gun is choked approx. “Improved Cylinder” (right) and “Modified” to “Improved Cylinder” (left). A very attractive looking LC with a great looking frame. One of only approx. 580 eaglegrades produced. Est: $2,500 - $5,000
