L. C. Smith double-barrel side by side factory trap gun, 12ga, 32” factory ventilated ribbed barrels, one trigger, auto-ejectors, nicely figured deluxe checkered wood stock with beavertail forendand rounded knob on pistol grip stock. Serial #87312. The frame shows standard scrolls and vignettes of trap shooters on each side. The barrels are marked “LC Smith Trap Grade and Hunter Arms. The barrels show 95-98% of aprofessional old reblued finish that is almost undetectable and is aging nicely. The lettering is only slightly weak. The frame and sideplates show 80-90% case hardening with some very bright and colorful hues. Thestocks are good to very good with crisp checkering, some small losses around the rear of the lock, and just normal aging and remain at least very good. The triggerguard shows 90% bright blue. The stock measures 14” to the end of the wood, 15” to the end of an old hard-rubber pad with one spacer that needs replacing. The action locks tight, the bores are bright.
