L.C. Smith Specialty Grade Side by Side shotgun, cal. 12 gauge, Serial #310469. The shotgun is in overall very good to nearly fine condition, with 28” blued barrels. The barrels retain the majority of their blued finish with a full lengthrib and bead front sight. The finely checkered wood stocks are in only fair condition with numerous mars, compressions and an old pinned repair at the wrist. The sidelock action has gone to silver but retains significant muted casecolor and is nicely engraved with wildlife scenes and scroll. The stock has ebony inserts at the fore end, a horn grip cap and hard rubber butt plate. The bores are very good and may clean. The action locks tightly and the markings arecrisp. (C+R/PPT).
