L.C. Smith Field Grade SxS hammerless shotgun, .410 gauge, 26” barrels, blue and case hardened finish, checkered wood stocks, #182724. This gun is has had a complete restoration by Matthews Gun Shop, by Matthews himself for his personal collection. It is in excellent condition overall showing approx. 99% of the refinished blue and case hardening, auto ejectors and a raised milled rib have been added, the bore is near fine, the actions crisp and the wood is excellent with crisp checkering and a beautiful finish. From the front of the trigger guard to the end of the wood, the stock measures 14-1/4” and measures 14-7/8” to the end of the Pachmayr hard rubber butt pad. A desirable L.C. Smith in .410 gauge restored expertly and from the Matthews’ estate. Est.: $1,250-$2,500.
