L.C. Smith Featherweight Field Grade .410 SN 105018 SXS shotgun made in 1927. Equipped with ejectors, double trigger, solid matte rib barrels, single gold bead sight and American walnut checkered pistol grips stocks. Barrels 27 1/8" unmarked to the top,SN 105018 SXS shotgun made in 1927. Equipped with ejectors, double trigger, solid matte rib barrels, single gold bead sight and American walnut checkered pistol grips stocks. Barrels 27 1/8" unmarked to the top, bottom of flats show 2 serial numbers 167269 and larger 105018, choked full on right and skeet on left. Finish is mixture of blue drifting to plum and appears to have had an old coat of cold blue wiped over it at some pint. Actions and safety function the frame shows amostly old cleaned silver gray, top of tang around the safety a deep brown as does trigger guard. Sidelock plates are both stamped L.C. Smith and display case colors stronger on left side. Length of pull on pistol grip stock is 13 3/4" from front trigger, both with factory checkering with no chips cracks or repairs, matching serial on forend, black plastic pistol grip cap and buttplate are intact.
