L.C. Smith 20ga side by side double-barrel shotgun with 25-3/4” barrels, infallible single trigger, standard extractors, O-marked frame. Serial number “3776”. The gun shows “Hunter Arms Company” marked barrels, old reblued finish and restocking. The barrels show approx. 90 – 95% old flat reblued finish, traces of case hardened colors drifting to grey. Trigger guard shows 90 – 95% finish and small “m” engraved at center. The gun shows an old restocking with beaver tail forend, which is in good condition other than a small chip and hairline crack at rear of left lock. A rubber recoil pad has been added, the stock measures 14” to the end of the end of the wood, 14-3/4” to the end of the pad. The action is good, bore is tight, needs cleaning. Est.:$1,500 - $3,000.
