First President of Ghana and the first Prime Minister of Ghana (1909–1972). An influential 20th century advocate of Pan-Africanism, he was a founding member of the Organization of African Unity. Vintage color Ghana booklet cover, 8.5 x 11, prepared by the Information Section of the Embassy of Ghana, signed and inscribed on the front cover in felt tip “John H. Ball from Kwame Nkrumah 29/7/58,” and also signed by Ralph J. Bunche. A rough left edge from removal, small area of soiling above signature, and mild handling wear, otherwise fine condition. Scarce in any form.
