Kushanas, Vasudeva (c. 192-225 AD), Gold Dinar, 7.92g, Obverse: king nimbate standing left, holding a trident to right, making an offering at an altar to left, above which is a garlanded trident with legend Shaonanao Shao Bazodeho Koshano, Reverse: a three headed (Trimurti) Shiva with four hands standing facing before Nandi bull facing right (instead of the usual facing left), Shiva holding a trident in upper right and lower right arm resting on Nandi’s hump holding Kamandalu, and holding noose in upper left hand and thunderbolt in lower left, tamgha to upper right, three pellets to left of Siva’s right leg, label Ohpo in left field (Gobl 506). Extremely Fine, Very Rare. There are three distinct features on the reverse, the first three headed shiva, second shiva with four arms and the third Nandi facing right rather than the usual left. A similar coin but in a higher grade sold in Todywalla Auctions 101 for Rs. 3,30,000 on 3rd February 2016. Ex. Todywalla Auctions 104, Lot No. 67.
