Superb vintage glossy 7 x 8.75 head-and-shoulders portrait of Weill wearing a bow tie, signed and inscribed in fountain pen to Jerome Moross with a sentiment in German. In fine condition, with a tiny tear to the right side, slight paper loss to corners, and slightly trimmed edges. The original recipient, Jerome Moross, was a fellow composer known for his television and film scores, one of which earned him an Academy Award nomination. Weill is especially rare in signed photos, particularly of this size, adding to the allure of this wonderful piece.
