Krieghoff model 32, gold-crown grade, 12ga “Skeet” over/under shotgun, 28” barrels, fancy high-relief engraved with gold inlay of gold dog and silver birds on left, and fox in gold on right with silver birds in flight. The bottom of the frame shows Krieghoff in gold, bird in flight and gold crown. The release lever is chiseled and pierced and shows gold squirrel. The stocks are nicely carved and fish-scale checkered and show aselect grain. The gun is serial #258 and is early in the series. Showing ventilated rib and split barrels. The stock measures 13-5/8” to the end of the wood, 14-5/8” to the end of the hard-rubber recoil pad. The barrelshows 90-95% blue, the frame shows grey or satin finish with some slight wear at the high points of inlays. The buttstock shows a crack developing in the area of the wrist from the screws being too tight and needs tobe attended too. The action is tight, bores near excellent.
