Korean War Era Randall No. 1 ''All Purpose'' Fighter, 8'' blade, 12-3/4'' overall, brass guard, aluminum pommel with brass nut, 3-1/2'' clipped point, deep fish hook choil. In Heiser marked leather scabbard with light brown snap buttons. Virtually identical to the knife pictured on Page 75 of ''Randall Fighting Knives in Wartime'', by Hunt. Condition is fine showing overall stone sharpening. Top half of logo on blade worn thin. Light carbon spotting with mellow patina to crossguard, and darkening to handle. Rough back Johnson scabbard shows very light overspray from a light colored paint but shows very dramatic corn row pattern on back. Perimeter stitching and stone pouch stitching intact; belt loop stitching appears to have been purposely removed. Gray composite stone is present and mint. Est.: $2,750-$3,250.
