Korean War Era Randall No. 1 ''All Purpose'' Fighter, 8'' blade, offset brass guard with five thick spacers, aluminum pommel with thin red & white and one thick blue spacer, and theater-added (possibly factory) skull crusher tang nut; long deep choil, 3-7/8'' secondary edge, with Randall scimitar logo, personalized on right side to Roy McCarroll. In its correct Heiser corn-row back leather scabbard marked ''1-8'' and factory stamped ''McCarroll'', with brown glove button showing Randall address. Sharpening stone pouch has been purposely removed by veteran at time of use. Condition is fine. Blade shows sharpening and very light polishing. Stacked leather washer grip with minor scuffs; brass guard with nice patina. Scabbard remains in very good to near fine condition with light to moderate wear and thinning of finish at strap; some darkening near throat and nice clear markings on back. Est.: $1,200-$1,800.
