Russian actor, director, and teacher (1863–1938) whose famous physical-and-experiential-based “method” of acting influenced generations of performers, including the likes of Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Marlon Brando, Robert DeNiro, and Johnny Depp. Scarce vintage 4.25 x 6 Russian cabinet photo of the distinguished-looking actor in a three piece suit, inscribed in fountain pen in Cyrillic and dated 1911, signed at the bottom “K. Stanislavsky.” In fine condition, with some slight discoloration to bottom corner tips, and a few trivial surface marks to background of image. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
