TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, Harvard University letterhead, August 7, 1985. In part: “I can not respond to your request since all my work is published in technical journals and I have a never attempted to write in a more general understandable vein. Scientists particularly in the chemical field find it very difficult to communicate except with colleagues of similar background, for the obvious reason that the language of chemistry has to be learned the hard away and can not be grasped intuitively.” In fine condition with a few edge creases along the left side.
