1847 Lot of 4. 1) St. Louis Chapter, No. 1 K.T. 1847. From the First Commandery of Missouri founded in 1847 is this a Great Membership Medal and shows the pride of the Templars. "By this sign we shall conquer" in Latin. 2) Claremont, Dunlap No. 5 Bath, ME. June 25, 1902. Dunlap ME Commandery Knights Templar Medal Givien to Memeber with Personal name of "Claremont." 3) Colorado. Grand Commandery / Saratoga. 1907. Grand Commadery Medal for Officers from Saratoga Colorado. Issued to Offices of the Grand Commandery for thier service to Knights Templar, Grand Commandery was organized the same year Colorado was to become a State of the Union. Many Knights Templar were involved in bringng civilization to mining towns and states, however as a clandestine organization it is not widely published. Very nice copper medal. 4) St. Johns No. 1 Prov, RI. Centennial of Grand Comdy. 1802. St Johns Commemoration Medal given to members in recognition of the Centennial of the Grand Commandery issued in 1902. AS Freemasonry was here since the begging of the Nation so too has been the Knights Templar. Proud Templars reflecting on the early days of the Nation, and even before.
