Original production made machete used in the science fiction film Knights (1993), starring kickboxing champion Kathy Long in her Hollywood debut, where In the future, a kickboxer and a robot lead a revolution against ruling cyborgs. The film began as a sequel to Pyun's 1989 film Cyborg. Starring Kathy Long, Kris Kristofferson, Lance Henriksen.
The machete is a real metal weapon customized by the crew with jagged edges.
