This is a wonderful Kiowa Native American Indian beaded Strike-A-Lite bag from the 19th century. The bag shows a harness leather construction with excellent glass trade seed beadwork in sky blue, Cheyenne pink, semi-transparent red white hearts, semi-transparent dark blue, greasy yellow. The bag has tin jingle trade cones along the top flap and bottom edge with two long braided Indian tanned hide fringe pieces. The top shows a large pound red white heart trade bead and the Indian tanned hide strap shows four trade beads, two glass and two solid brass. The bag shows a sinew and trade thread sewn construction. Overall a good condition piece with little to no bead loss. Measures overall 19"L with strap/fringe x 3.5"W. Bag area is 6"H.
