The lot features a Kiowa Native American Indian beaded sheath and a blacksmith file hand crafted early trade knife. The 19th century trade knife shows the worked blacksmith file with Buffalo Skinner shape, hardwood grips marked "ER" with copper rivets. The sheath has long fringe along the entire side with excellent early trade seed beads in chalk white, semi-transparent sky blue, corn yellow and Hudson Bay red white hearts. The sheath has an Indian tanned hide construction and shows good condition. Knife is 12"L with a 6 7/8"L blade. Sheath is 16.5"L with fringe and top strap.
