DS, 21 pages, 8.5 x 13, December 21, 1922. Contract between King Vidor and the Goldwyn Producing Corporation, with the former agreeing to "produce, direct, and finish one motion picture. Document goes on to describe particulars of the film, including a morals clause, insisting that said picture "shall be of high standard and quality of production in respect of acting, action, photography, settings, locations, costumes," and that it shall "not be of a morbid, gruesome or offensive character, nor shall it depict action of class, sex or sectarian appeal." Signed at the conclusion in blue fountain pen by Vidor and countersigned by Abraham Lehr, the vice president of Samuel Goldwyn Productions. In fine condition.
