One page with integral address leaf, 8" x 11.5", Whitehall, September 13, 1661, to Lord Rutherford, Governor of Dunkirke regarding prize money. James became king upon the death of Charles II, his brother, in 1685. He was the last Roman Catholic ruler of the British Isles and reigned until the "Glorious Revolution" of 1688.
