King of Great Britain and Ireland (1762–1830) from 1820 to his death. The eldest son of George III, he alienated his subjects with his prodigious spending and contemptuous treatment of his wife, Queen Caroline, whom he refused to admit to his coronation. Large ink signature, “George PR,” on an off-white 4.5 x 2 clipped slip. In fine condition, with light pencil remnants, some stray ink marks, and an irregular left edge.
