Manuscript DS, signed “George R,” one page, 8 x 12.5, July 18, 1759. Document by which King George II orders that "Our Coldstream Regiment of Foot Guards," commanded by James Lord Tyrawley, be "augmented with one Corporal and Ten private men to each Company." Signed at the head by King George II, and countersigned at the conclusion by Barrington; also signed on the reverse by Henry Bilson-Legge, Robert Nugent, and Frederick North as commissioners of the Treasury. In very good condition, with staining, edge wear and paper loss, and old tape holding in place a once-removed, now-restored signature of Lord Frederick North.
