Holy Roman emperor, king of Bohemia and of Hungary (1578–1637); successor of Holy Roman Emperor Matthias. Manuscript DS, in German, signed “Ferdinand,” one page both sides, 16.25 x 11.75, 1620. Boldly penned untranslated document, signed at the conclusion by Ferdinand. Document is removably encapsulated in acid free Mylar. Scattered toning and soiling, several small areas of paper loss, a few small separations along folds, and a pencil notation under signature, otherwise very good condition. The embossed seal is toned and partially intact.
