One page, 5" x 7.5" on paper with 3/4 of the original wax seal of the King present, being a transmittal cover to an appointment for John Boynton who settled in Newberry [Massachusetts] in 1636, signed on the cover. All of the paper is present, usual foxing for an item of this age.
