<B>Kes (United Artists, 1969).</B></I> British Quad (30" X 40"). British film-maker Ken Loach captures the hopelessness of the British industrial worker in this film about a small boy who tries to instill hope in his life by raising and nurturing a small Kestrel bird. The film remains a brilliant bit of social commentary - an area in which Loach excelled. There was a small hole with tiny paper loss in the left border, and small holes in the right border. The upper right corner was missing and there is light fold wear. The poster has been mounted on linen and professionally restored, leaving it with a nice appearance.
