Kenzo Tange is one of the most celebrated modernist architects in Japan. The 1987 Pritzker Prize winner created humane and ethereal environments, predominantly using concrete as his building material.
This form reflects Tange's respect for traditional architecture with its strong vertical and horizontal planes. The warm wood and slight curves represent the subtle details that humanize his modernist forms. Sold with four cushions (not shown).
