Kentucky Percussion Rifle with Powder Horn
This percussion converted (most likely Pennsylvania) rifle features fixed sights on a barrel marked "J Sea illegible)" on the top flat. The ramrod pipes, forend cap, buttplate, patch box, reverse plate, and trigger guard are brass, with the decorative patch box featuring a light engraving. Plain trigger and mounted with a full length tiger stripe maple stock. The stock has a crescent buttplate, a monogrammed wrist initial oval, and four stock wedges. Complete with a 10 inch long powder horn with a wood base.

Condition: Very good as period converted to percussion. The rifle has a smooth dark patina with some scattered minor spotting and minor flash pitting that extends to the hammer and lock plate. The brass has been polished at one time. The stock is fine with a crack near the toe, a couple hairline cracks, and a few small chips around the lock, along with some minor handling marks. The powder horn is fine with numerous minor scratches.
