Well known Irish character actor, Milo O’Shea first worked on stage under Sir
John Gielgud’s direction. At the age of 19 he joined Dublin’s Abbey Players and
worked with them for over two decades. His film credits include Leopold Bloom in
the 1967 version of Ulysses, Durand-Durand in Barbarella (1968), Judge Hoyle in
The Verdict (1981) and more recently, a priest in Patrick McCabe’s The Butcher
Boy.
