John F. Kennedy, Jr. autograph letter signed. Charming letter is to Roosevelt Greir, the Los Angeles Rams player who became the Kennedy family bodyguard who disarmed Sirhan Sirhan in the RFK assassination. Letter reads in full, ''Dear Rosey, Thank you so much for the wonderful wonderful football and plaque. I still don't see how you got all those players to sign it. Also please thank the people who signed it. The plaque is so nice. Thanks again, Truly John''. Sadly JFK, Jr. died in a plane crash with his wife at the age of 38. Undated letter runs 1pp. on pale blue stationery with a white embossed scallop shell design at the top. Measures 5.25'' x 7.5''. Mounted to a card to an overall size of 5.75'' x 8.25''. Some fading to text, foxing and toning over most of page, else very good.
