Handwritten firsthand account of Willmon’s experience as a witness to the assassination, two pages, 8.5 x 11, signed at the conclusion in black ballpoint, “Jim Willmon, 10/10/98.” In part: “Time has taken its toll on the exact memory of what went on that day. I remember very well that there was enough time between the first shot and the others that I had time to make the remark about the Secret Service.” In fine condition. Thinking that the first shot was actually a car backfiring, Willmon had joked, ‘The Secret Service is going to have a heart attack!’
