College Football Hall of Famer (1916-2007). He played college football for LSU and was named the Most Valuable Player in the Southeastern Conference in 1939. After college he played for the Chicago Bears and was an assistant coach for the New York Giants from 1955-1971. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Kavanaugh getting ready to punt a football, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “Best of luck to Jimmy Wiggins, Ken Kavanaugh.” In fine condition, with some scattered light surface marks.
