Contract, signed “Kenton L. Boyer,” four pages on two adjoining sheets, 8.5 x 11, February 2, 1965. National League uniform player’s contract in which Ken Boyer agrees to render "skilled services as a baseball player during the year 1965” for the St. Louis Cardinals, for a salary of $50,000. Signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Boyer and countersigned by Cardinals General Manager Bob Howsam and National League President Warren Giles. In fine condition.

By 1965, Boyer's hitting prowess and stellar third base play had established him as a perennial All-Star. When he signed this deal, he was coming off his greatest offensive season and sole NL MVP campaign, having tallied 24 homers and a league-leading 119 RBI on the strength of a .295 average.
