London: Hutchinson and Co., 1974-1976. <BR>First UK hardcover editions. Two octavo volumes.<BR><I><BR>Chalk</B></I> is black cloth with white spine titles. <I>Grain</B></I> is orange cloth with gold spine titles. Dust jackets. Overall, books and jackets are fine. British science-fiction writer Keith Roberts (1935-2000) also worked as an illustrator of sci-fi magazine covers, but perhaps is best remembered for the many "difficulties" he caused for his publishers.
