Original felt tip sketch on a 6.5 x 3.5 First Day Cover featuring a cachet with a printed color image by influential 1980’s artist and social activist Keith Haring. The sketch depicts one of Haring’s ‘Radiant Baby’ figures whose head incorporates the postmark, and is signed “K. Haring 88.” Attractively double matted and framed to an overall size of 19.5 x 17. In fine condition. Haring’s themes of birth, death, war, love and sex made Haring, who died in 1990, one of the world’s most widely recognized visual artists of the last century.
