Actress (1905–1968) who between 1930 and 1936, was the number one female star at the Warner Brothers studio, and the highest paid American film actress. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 Warner Bros. and Vitaphone publicity photo of Francis wrapped in a boa, signed in-person in fountain pen. Reverse of photo bears collector’s stamp date of July 20, 1940, the date the signature was acquired. In fine condition, with small tear to left edge, and some scattered mild rippling to emulsion.
