TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, Menninger Foundation letterhead, April 1, 1959. Letter to the medical editor of Look magazine. In part; “I agree with you that Dr. Robert S. Myers’ attitude toward the hospitalization of children as described and defended in his bitter commentary on your article is atrocious, but I don’t believe I am the one to take up the cudgels. I am going to show this to some of our child psychiatrists and also our hospital staff.” Menninger has also made two small corrections to the text. In fine condition. Accompanied by a carbon of the response to the letter.
