<B>Karl Dönitz Typed Letter Signed</B></I> "<I>Dönitz</B></I>". One page, in German on 8.25" x 6" personal "Dönitz Grossadmiral A. D." letterhead, October 28, 1967, Aumühle, Germany, to a Mr. Calow. He thanks the correspondent for his letter of October 10 and then states (translated) "We did not have a rocket, which we could fire from a submarine, in the last war." Aumühle was the town in northern Germany where Dönitz, the famous German naval leader, moved after his 1956 release from Spandau Prison where he had served ten years for war crimes and crimes against peace.
