The site was located on 160 acres of rural farmland about 6 miles from Fulton, Kansas. By 1901 the population had risen to 41 persons. The exchange boasted farming and coal operations, but perhaps the most notable endeavor was a factory erected to produce a prototype aircraft. Unfortunately the machine never flew. The colonists became embroiled in disputes over personal property and this utopia ended in a suspicious fire in 1905.
