Cal. 11.25m/m (45 ACP). S# 29705. Mfg. 1945 (920 units; S# 29615-30535) in Norway at Kongsberg Vapenfabrikk Arsenal. 1911 Colt pattern w/ Norwegian style slide stop. Matching numbers of ".705" on trigger, checkered undercut thumb safety, grip safety, smooth flat mainspring housing, slide stop & bbl. Full matching number on slide w/ “J” proof behind rear sight. “WaA84” on slide (left of cal. marking) & on lower left side of bbl. aligned w/ front of leg. Eagle Party symbol on left leg of bbl. plus script "B" & “.705” in front of legs. Crown "K" above S# on left side of slide; "1945" on opposite side. Checkered wide spur hammer & firing pin retainer both in the white. Left side of trigger guard has script "B". Black stained dbl. diamond checkered grips w/ light wood base color showing on lg. diamonds & on most diamond tops. MAGS: 1 unmarked 7 rd. w/ lanyard loop. Body appears plated w/ blued base, pins & follower. Dark vertical lines at corners of spine give appearance of being blued over plating wear. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: very good black leather flap holster w/ stud & strap retention, wide single belt loop plus lift strap stitched to flap. Underside of flap inked “29705” over “KVM GRONSVEEN” over “BSKA”. Slight verdigris at brass stud. Very minimal signs of use. CONDITION: very good overall appearance w/ minimal operation wear (mostly on bbl. at ejection port). Slight thinning of finish at high points, especially on slide along w/ function wear. Recoil spring & extractor appear new replacements. Barrel is throated & feed ramp in the white w/out signs of wear (not highly polished); both items likely done after manufacture. Mag. release has minimal finish on right; appears possible replacement. Light marks to concave portion of mainspring housing retaining pin. Light breech face wear & near excellent bore. (23-636/NW).
