His individual way of artistic expression is based mainly on abstract language of symbols taken from surrounding countryside, from its complex morphology and countless transformations through which it passes during the period of the yearly cycle. In other words, his paintings express the beauty of landscape in a complex artistic generalisation, which preserves individual landscape sections with only a general sensual similarity (T. Tetiva). Attention is thus paid mainly to the spiritual essence of a place, its metaphor and lyrical discharge issuing from it, all that has the power to create new reality from old, often using fantasy, awakened in the rare domain of a daydream.
