<td width="100%">
This is a 6" black K&H doll that looks like a Nancy Ann Storybook Doll. There is a reason for this. K&H poured dolls for the Nancy Ann Storybook Doll Co. for awhile but then the company decided to go into competition and a lawsuit was filed by Nancy Ann. The courts ruled against K&H and they had to stop producing their dolls.Of course by that time, there were a lot of dolls out there. This doll would represent Topsy. The Nancy Ann Topsy is much darker in color as this is a milk chocolate color. This doll has the frozen legs with white painted shoes. She has the hard plastic arms that look like bisque. The arms move. She has a black mohair wig and brown painted eyes. The clothes are all original. There are a few black smudges of something on the back edge of the skrit. The dress is a lavendar satin with lace trim. There is a ribbon and flowers up on her shoulder. The doll is marked K&H.
This is a doll that you do not find often. All the black dolls from this time period are harder to find than the white dolls. Fewer black dolls were produced. She is from a smoke free environment. If you can love her, please bid. Buyer to pay $10 for U.S. shipping, insurance, and handling. Thanks for viewing.
