Featured in this lot is a framed hand tinted photograph of Rock Creek, Chrome Mountain scene from Billings - Red Lodge Highway to Cook City and the entrance to Yellowstone Park by Montana photographer, K.F. Roahen, circa 1930s. Kenneth Roahen was a Billings, Montana photographer in the early to mid 1900s. The photograph was taken on one side of the bank with a bridge in the middle with the road bending into the distance and forest lines on both sides of the bridge. The raised watermark reads as follows: Roahen Photo; and the back of the photograph reads as follows: Rock Creek - Chrome Mountain - Scene from Billings - Redlodge - Highway to Cook City Entrance - Yellowstone Park - by K.F. Roahen. The condition of this photograph shows well preserved stature with some very slight wear to the frame but otherwise shows no obvious signs of damage to the photograph. The measurements of this framed photograph are 15 1/8" x 18" and the visible photograph measures 13 5/8" x 16 1/2".*
