(Universal, 1993) This unique set of advance teaser poster concepts were created by legendary movie poster painter John Alvin in 1992 for the upcoming promotional campaign of Jurassic Park. The concepts feature the "Jurassic Park" logo being slowly excavated after 60 million years. Each concept would have been released to theaters a few weeks apart, allowing moviegoers to see the excavation unfold, an incredible concept that was ultimately never used. Each concept is a color print that measures 11" x 8.25" that are mounted to foam core that measures 13.75" x 10". Two of the concepts feature an overlay attached with hand drawn tools and notes by John Alvin. Included with the concepts is the original letter sent with the concepts by John Alvin to pitch the advance poster concept. These are all signed by John Alvin on the back.
