The first eight issues measured 10 1/2" x 14 1/2" and, thus, are impossible to find in high grade. This rare issue features the second appearance of Sheena, and three stories by a young Jack Kirby who went on to help create the Marvel Universe. There is a strip of Charlie McCarthy and Edgar Bergen that previews the cartoon "A Letter of Introduction". Later issues of this run can be had with much less searching, but if you pass up a chance at this, you might be waiting quite awhile for the next copy to come around. There are four small pieces of tape on the cover. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment.
