ALS, one page on a government postcard, 5.5 x 3.25, December 13, 1907. Letter to an admirer. In part: “Your book is safe. I was in New York when you sent it. I have written my name in it, but think I will not send it at this moment on acct of the Xmas rush of articles of all sorts.” Howe also addressed the postcard in her own hand. A few light creases, staple holes to the lower right corner, and a couple light cancellation stamps affecting parts of the text, otherwise fine condition.
