Singer and actor (1914–2003) perhaps best remembered for her part in launching Ronald Reagan's film career by getting him to 'ditch the glasses.' Vintage pearl-finish 8 x 10 double weight photo, signed and inscribed in-person in fountain pen “To Saul, Very best regards, Joy Hodges, 7.8.38.” Reverse of photo bears collector’s stamp date of July 7, 1938, the date the signature was acquired. In fine condition, with a couple light fingerprints and a couple trivial spots of silvering.
