Very good plus. The barrel retains about 35% of the faded original blue finish with some streaks of gray and spotting. The remaining metal surfaces have a mix of smooth gray and smooth dark patina and spotting strongest on the buttplate. The stock is very good with numerous minor dings and scratches and some minor dents, scuff marks and gouges. There is some chipping near the barrel band and a large chip near the upper tang.
