Joslyn Army Model percussion revolver, .44 cal., 8” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered wood grips, #1759. This gun is in overall very good condition showing scattered areas of original blue, primarily in protected locations and on the cylinder; some traces of case color on the loading lever; balance of metal surfaces have gone to a pleasing brown patina with some scattered spots of erosion and pin prick pitting but nothing major or serious; very good bore, crisp action, sharp markings; all matching visible serial numbers; very good grips with just a couple of scratches and mars from carry and storage. A nice untouched example of a Civil War era Joslyn. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
